Since 1973 Roux Pecans has been recognised as one of the leaders in the South African pecan industry.
Having built a body of experience from establishing pecan orchards and moving from conventional practices all the way through to certified organic principles, Roux Pecans understands the realities and nuances of an organic orchard first-hand.
As pecan farmers ourselves, with daily on-the-ground experience and a hands-on approach to our own orchard, Roux Pecans prides itself on leading the way in progressive pecan practices.
This, together with years of experience in learning from our own mistakes and finding solutions that are sustainable and profitable, gives us the ability to offer value-adding advisory services to prospective pecan operations, whether in South Africa or internationally.

WHAT WE BELIEVE INCERTIFIED QUALITY
Our commitment to producing quality organic pecans ‘which you can trust’ is confirmed by our certification authorities and the consistency we produce year on year. Since 1996 Roux Pecans has been certified organic by Ecocert and our facilities are BRC certified to the highest level for Food Safety.
ORGANIC CERTIFICATION
We are very proud to be passed by ECOCERT SA as having surpassed the standard required by Ecocert Organic Standard equivalent to EC 834/2007 regulation.
We are thus certified to use the term "organic" to describe the entire process followed on this farm from, bud break in spring, agricultural practice, harvesting, processing, to the kernel in the bag in your hand.

CERTIFICATION
We are enormously proud to have reached Grade AA in the BRC Global Standard Certificate for Food Safety. This is the highest possible standard for best practices in food safety, and we are committed to maintaining this excellent certification.
